Jeremiah 3:3-5

³ Therefore the ^(A)showers have been withheld,
And the ^[a]late rain has not ^[b]come.
Yet you had a ^(B)harlot’s forehead;
You refused to feel dishonor.
⁴ Have you not just now called to Me,
‘^(C)My Father, You are the ^[c](D)close companion of my ^(E)youth?
^5 (F)Will He be angry forever?
Will He keep it to the end?’
Behold, you have spoken
And have done evil things,
And you have ^[d]had your way.”
